As well as maintaining and upgrading our three lines, we provide a number of specialist services that are used across the Underground network:

Emergency Response Unit (ERU)

With four depots around London, the ERU is dedicated to ensuring that the network is made safe and services restarted as quickly as possible following a fire, derailment or any other emergency.

Trans Plant

Trans Plant provides specialist engineering trains, purpose built to make sure that equipment and materials are delivered and collected on time, whether from station platforms or track sites – indeed, anywhere on the London Underground network.

Escalators

150,000 passengers enter the Tube system every hour and getting them down to the platforms safely is a big responsibility. We service and refurbish escalators combining the latest engineering innovations with decades of product knowledge.

Distribution

We provide a wide range of transport services to the Tube’s infrastructure operators and suppliers in London and beyond. Our fleet of haulage vehicles is capable of moving the heaviest specialised railway equipment.

Waste

Expertly and cost effectively, we remove and recycle waste and scrap from the Underground, rail and related sites. We also provide environmental compliance advice from recovery and recycling to landfill avoidance.

Mechanical

We provide solutions to a wide range of mechanical and material problems across track, signals, trains, stations, escalators and lifts.

Signal & Electrical

We offer a comprehensive range of signalling and electrical skills and services to keep the trains running and the tunnels lit.
